We bring the love of Jesus to nursing homes
At St. Lazarus Mission, we equip the destitute, dying, the forgotten, and the put away, to be the local church within the nursing home. We take a holistic approach to elder care, enabling them to live with purpose, for the glory of God.

Our mission is to serve
Our charter as a ministry of the Reformed Episcopal Church (part of the Anglican Church in North America), is to promote the general charitable work of churches, ministering especially to those who are lonely, forgotten, and bound by physical, mental, or other frailty in extended care or similar facilities. St. Lazarus Mission offers the light of Christ through worship, sacraments, fellowship, and other charitable acts to foster and extend an active and fruitful Christian community of those to whom and with whom we minister. We minister to the whole community, the whole person, and emphasize personal relationships.
We love anyone and everyone
The spirit of invitation requires uncompromising and compassionate ministry to all regardless of race, age, affiliation, apparent faith in Christ or lack thereof. While we draw material and human resources primarily from Reformed Episcopal Church parishes, we invite our fellow Christians of other branches of Christ’s Church, and all who love our Divine Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ in sincerity to partner with us in worship, ministry, support, and prayer.

A message from Fr. Chris
It is difficult to condense 35 years of experience found in the hearts and minds of almost 40 people into a few pages. This means there may be wisdom right below the surface that we can share to make your ministry or situation better.
Feel free to ask any question about St. Lazarus Mission’s activities or to get information we may not have communicated clearly. We welcome suggestions, too!
Peace be with you,
Fr. Chris
